How To Master The Universe’s Currency
Having an attitude of gratitude can transform your life
Gratitude is the ultimate multiplier of blessings.
The more grateful you can be, the more life will give you reasons to be thankful for.
It’s often a lot easier to feel grateful when things are going well, and even then, we may forget.
When we are consciously aware of the highs in our lives, we can actively milk the joyful, expansive feelings of gratitude we experience when things are going well.
If we immerse ourselves in the high frequency of gratitude when it is easy to do so, it will be more accessible when life is more challenging.
Prime examples are when we reach a personal milestone, a new creation is born, we finally go on that dream trip, or we welcome a new member to the family.
Training ourselves to magnify these marvellous moments when they arise will have profound effects.
Not only will you feel even more fantastic as they happen, but you will also significantly shift the vibration of your energy field as you do, multiplying your blessings in the process!
Do you currently have a gratitude practice in place?
How has gratitude affected your life?
How you react to what happens to you is infinitely more important than what happens to you, and gratitude plays a big part in this.
Let’s explore this further.
Shift Your Frequency With Gratitude
We’ve touched on being thankful when the going is good, but it is especially important to tap into the frequency of gratitude when things aren’t going so swimmingly.
This is undeniably more challenging but absolutely crucial if you wish to experience the highest possible outcome of your current situation.
When we look through the lens of gratitude, we shift our energy into a higher frequency quickly, thereby easing the situation we are currently experiencing. This opens up the energy to solutions and other benefits.
Gratitude is the ultimate alchemist. It is the swiftest way to raise your vibration, which will, in turn, enable you to transform your life.
It’s easier said than done, I know, but practice makes progress.
There is always something to be grateful for, even when you think there isn’t.
During trying times, it is best to go to the basics, such as being grateful that:
You woke up this morning
You are breathing
You are wearing clothes
You have a roof over your head and somewhere comfortable to sleep (hopefully)
You have a fridge and food in it to nourish you
You have people/pets that love you
If you feel that you don’t, then you certainly have a Spirit Team who do and who never leave your side whether you are aware of them or not
You have a device to read or listen to this article on
You can hear and/or see to do that
Amidst all the intense chaos, you are still currently alive on one of the most beautiful planets in the Universe
The fact that you are still alive means that you are meant to be here and are needed
You can smile to lift yourself and others
And the list goes on and on once you get going…
Being able to find gratitude when you are being monumentally challenged is a sure sign of tremendous spiritual growth.
Whenever you have these (initially rare) powerful moments, be incredibly proud of yourself and celebrate how far you have come along your journey.
And when you are not able to, you can still shower yourself with compassion and be grateful that you have come far enough to do that.
Either way, gratitude wins.
And when gratitude wins, so do you.
Amplify Your Gratitude Practice
It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate.
Some people like to religiously write in a gratitude journal which is a phenomenal practice.
If that doesn’t tickle your fancy or seems like too much work, fear not. You can simply feel into the emotion of gratitude or say mentally or out loud what you are grateful for.
There is no right or wrong way, but whatever works for you, as with everything.
Something is better than nothing, and more is better than something.
Starting your day with gratitude is my highest recommended way to bring more gratitude into your day. When you do so early on, you set the tone for your day ahead right from the get-go.
When you do the same at night before you sleep, you end your day similarly and allow your subconscious to feed that energy into your next day. Thereby, it will compound into the following day and so forth.
If you can get into the habit of noting three things that you are grateful for every night before you sleep and doing the same again when you wake up in the morning, you are priming your gratitude muscles wonderfully.
Even this tiny practice can have incredibly potent effects.
Whatever you can be grateful for at any time, go for it and go for it with a full and open heart!
Here are some other times and ways you can tune into the frequency of gratitude in your daily life:
When spending time with loved ones, which includes pets
When enjoying the beauty of nature; whether it is the scent of a rose, watering your house plants or witnessing a beautiful sunset
Blessing your water or whatever you drink with gratitude
Being thankful before, during and after meals
Whilst doing your favourite activities such as reading, dancing etc.
When you have moments of rest
When you are having fun
When you listen to music
When moving your body
And any other occasion that you feel inspired to!

Avoid Complaining Like The Plague
Complaining is literally the opposite of gratitude.
Complaining drains your energy, lowers your frequency and attracts more of what you don’t want.
Gratitude is the best way to remedy the habit of complaining.
As tempting as it is when things are not transpiring as you had hoped, avoid the urge to complain about it, whether in your head or out loud.
At first, you will likely catch yourself after you have uttered your complaint aloud.
Then, you will progress to intercepting the thought of the complaint before you actually say it.
As your awareness and eagerness to eliminate complaining increases, you will be able to halt yourself even before the complaining thought begins to manifest for you.
This is magnificent, and in due course, gratitude will override all tendencies to complain entirely!
However, it is a process, so be gentle and patient with yourself.
Even after you have somewhat mastered exchanging complaining with its cure of gratitude, you may find yourself in situations and emotional states that override all your hard work. Surprisingly, you may find yourself complaining again out of the blue.
Don’t panic. This is normal. You are just elevating your mastery to the next level.
Lovingly guide yourself back to gratitude every time that happens with as much self-compassion and kindness as you can muster. And before you know it, you will have aligned yourself back into your gratitude mastery.
Make a conscious effort to put all your focus on what you do have as opposed to what you desire but don’t have yet.
After all, you want to experience more abundance, not encourage lack. So, being grateful for what you have already will invite more of that.
Always remember that gratitude is the antidote to complaining.
Keep coming back to that.
Become A Miracles Magnet
Any time, and every time, is an excellent moment to be thankful and appreciative of all that is in your current reality.
Even though your current circumstances might not entirely be what you had hoped for or are reaching towards, they serve a purpose. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be happening, and that in itself is a reason to be thankful.
Chances are, where you are now is where you once hoped or even prayed you would be, so don’t forget to be thankful for that and grateful to yourself that you have come as far as you have.
Celebrate with a wide open heart in deep gratitude for life's little and big things, and watch the magic happen. The Universe always rewards a grateful heart.
Gratitude is a precursor to miracles, big and small, and it makes every moment so much more pleasurable and enjoyable when we choose to see through gratitude's eyes.
Of course, we are human, which means we are naturally flawed, so don’t be mean or rude to yourself if you notice you’re not doing as well as you’d like or need to up your gratitude game.
Just recognise where you are and feel grateful for that awareness.
Give yourself the grace you would afford another, and be grateful for the understanding you now have. Use that to improve your gratitude game from a place of love, acceptance, and, above all, kindness towards yourself.
What are you currently grateful for?

Either way, remember that a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles!
And you deserve nothing but the absolute best!

I can relate to so much of this ❤️. Especially going through days when feeling grateful isn’t as easily accessible, I find that the evening practice is somehow easier than in the morning?!
